Dr. Ichord performed surgery on my dog to remove lumps from his throat — a procedure that other vets refused to attempt due to the complexity and delicate location. Thankfully, Dr. Ichord is not only a highly skilled surgeon, but also someone who genuinely cares about animals and their families.

This is a family-owned practice run by a husband-and-wife team, and you can feel the difference the moment you walk in. The staff is incredible — they know my dog by name, and he actually gets excited to go to the vet (which says a lot!).

Because they’re independently owned and not part of a big corporate chain, their prices are fair and reasonable. While sitting in the lobby, you’ll meet other longtime clients who feel the same way — many of us have trusted Dr. Ichord with our pets for years. We all agree: this is the BEST vet in North County.
